Now I'm married, but the guy I slept with before I got married ended up being my husbands cousin (his first cousin). My problem is that I think he still likes me. I never told my husband about it, because we were not together when it happened. So, I really don't think he needs to know. I don't know everyone he slept with nor do I want to know. I don't like this guy, but I don't know how to get him to understand this. I don't want to be the reason that he wouldn't talk to my husband anymore, because they are really close. So, any true answers are more than welcome.

You have two choices...ignore it and go on with your married life, or sit your husband down, tell him there are things in your past that you would prefer he know, even if it will hurt him...and tell him the why, when, and where...the whole story, nothing but the truth. HE cannot get angry over this, for he has a past also...don't be surprised if he slept with one of your relatives...this is not that uncommon. But, IF he is going to hear about it, I think it would come better from you than from his cousin at a later date. And there is no reason his cousin should be estranged from him over this. Good luck. Of course, I am speaking from a "perfect world" view. What goes down in reality may be another thing entirely. I am just giving you choices, NOT advice.

Do not tell your husband, that would serve no useful purpose. Tell your cousin that the past is the past and that you are not now and will not in the future be interested in him.

You are in a little tricky situation. Be faithful to your husband. Make sure the guy is not blackmailing you.

Pretend you don't remember him. That usually works.
