The way I understand it Hezbollah is an organization that spans several countries. Iran being the home of it. Being both political and a military group they have acted independent of governments. Some Hezbollah were elected in a free election in Lebanon

Don't underestimate the French military! They can be very effective fighters! I know all the jokes and the French reluctance to get involved in war, but once committed, they are tough!

If the French go into it alone, they may have to surrender in three to four months (to Nasrallah, maybe? or Iran or Syria, but definitely not to Siniora 'coz he had already surrendered to Hezbollah a long time ago). But remember, as always, the Allied forces will come in and liberate the French, so, as their language perfectly captured it, "deja vu."

The Hezbollah is a political party of Lebanon. They are armed to the teeth, and the country can do little about it, because it has such a spotty military.
