Everyone that knows me, knows that I write books. But they think that because I write books that I must be good at writing everything, and they get mad when I come home with less than an A on an English paper, or they try to get me to write resumes for them for a job. I dont think this falls under your 'over-looked' category, but maybe it could go in 'mis-understood'?
