That would depend on you, your daily activities.

If you work or gone most of the day a new puppy would not be something you need to have. A cat if you wanted an animal is a good house pet to have, since they take care of themselves, only bad thing.... Got to keep cat box cleaned everyday or else it will stink up the whole house.

You could always go with a lizard, but can be costly since alot need special heat lamps, cages, diet, as in food.

To me the best pets to have is a huge fish tank a 50 gallon tank preferably, remeber the bigger the tank the less you need to clean it. But a Fish tank requires patience. After purchasing a Fish tank you need at least 1 week to cycle tank, and then you need to have a local pet store avaliable, or you can buy water testing kits. It can be very costly but to me the rewards are so awsome. I can be so stressed out and I can turn off all lights and stare at my fish tank, well used to have one lol.

It's a proven fact that a fish tank can relieve stress. Not to meantion the beauty of it.

It's up to you and how you live. If you have a busy life get something that is less matience, and that dosen't require alot of time and effort. Remember a Dog is like having a child. It requires that much effort.

Well, dogs are smelly. They'll be your friend, but take a lot of maintenance. Cats are very reserved, unless you get a kitten that's playful and keep raising it that way. They'll love you, but sometimes they'll do kitty things like spraying. Bunnies, guinea pigs, and maybe ferrets would be your best bet.

A reccommendation: Get a rescue animal versus buying from a pet shop or breeder. And it'd be a good idea to fix your pet once it's used to you. I say that because if it barely knows you the operation will leave trauma.

It depends on what you want to do with your pet. How active you will be with it or just want to sit and watch tv with it. Do you have a yard? Do you have a fence? Want an inside pet or outside or both? How big is your house? How much time do you want to spend on grooming on it? I love dogs best because of the way they bond with you and can do so much with you. I raise Schipperke dogs and we had a new litter yesterday. I have a bunch of rescue dogs available too at www.shadycreekdogs.com

One you like... You're in reptiles, did you want a snake? I have ball pythons and cali kings. I've had pacman frogs, chameleons, tarantulas, milk snakes, and have taken care of corns. I'm not too big on lizards cause they can run away fast. I would however get a bearded dragon or a monitor. It really depends on what you feel like you can take care of your pet the best as possible.

it depends on how much youre willing to spend, how much time you can dedicate to it, if youll be able to love it for a long time, how much space you have for it, and so on and so forth. think about it carefully and do research before you even get something.
