I took a pregnancy test on Sunday (EPT) and it was negative (I looked at it at every angle). I am like 2 weeks late, but I was doing bad w/ birth control pills so wondering if that just threw me off. If I was 2 weeks late (approximately) would the test have been right?

Tests can give false negatives, not false positives.
But because you did mess up on the pill I am not sure how that would work with the period and stuff. Are you feeling like you are going to get your period?
If you can I would stay off the pill and have protected sex and see if you get your period or not. If you do not with in 4 days I would take another test.
If by chance that comes out negative then I would see the Doctor just to make sure that everything is fine.

yes you did the right thing by testing and waiting that lovely 14 day waiting period. Birth control pills can and will do that to your body. I know it happend to me so many times that now I am on the IUD cause I was tired of being worried every month. I would say wait til your period would be due again and if still nothing test 1 more time and then call the doctor. Do you have any pregnancy symptoms? Well good luck

OK don't freak out just yet. I just saw on the news where girls can skip their periods altogether if they want. I'm on the shot and haven't had one in 2 years. But if you're taking the pill and and don't want a period then just don't take the last week specially for the time you're on. So you might have done that without thinking. If you're still not sure then take another one you could have gotten a false negative.

Most likely, you are late because of the irregulation with your pills. However, if you completely miss your period and you are still getting negative HPT (home pregnancy test) results, then you should see your doctor to rule out any serious cause. It is possible to get false negatives on your pregnancy tests. I had several false negatives with all three of my pregnancies before I ever got a positive.

Even with your pills being off, you shouldn't be two weeks late. I would wait another week, and if still a negative response then call and make an appt.

you can wait and take another EPT or call your doctor and find out for sure. EPT are not 100% correct, I have 2 grandbabies and both time my daughter inlaws EPT said negative.

You could be late for different reasons. Emotional stress, physical stress, etc. Take another pregnancy test(maybe a different brand?) and see what it says. If it's still negative, call your ob/gyn for a visit.

could have been u could have got a false result go see ur doctor and get a blood test done to prove it good luck if not it could have just been the pills

If you take them at diff. time each day and then skip just one day and double up the next, you will mess up your period week. Take the test one more time to make sure and make sure you do it correctly. Stay on track w/your pills..put them by your bedside and when you wake up you see them and will take them..good luck to you

The test could be right, but neglecting your pills will confuse your regular cycle. you have to think of how your period gos by your pills.
