I mean like can u put more games in it and what other thinks can u do then listen to music.

with a 4 gb ipod, u cant put movies and videos on it. if u have a 30 gb or a 60 gb ipod, u can put videos on it. its called a 5th generation ipod.

in a 40GB iPod all you can do is listen to music. It's a 3rd generation iPOd. The 5th Gen iPod that you can watch videos on are the 30GB and 60GB ipods.
The 40GB does have a sleep timer and an awake timer so you can fall a sleep to it and have it wake you up. the 5th Gen does not have this feature.

Games? well you can put it on the ipod but you can't play it on the ipod....

put pictures..if you have the right one. but 40gb is alot. i only have 512mg.
