Your cramping is fine. Unless you experience spotting or pain that makes you stop in your tracks or keeps you up at night should you go to the Doctors.
As far as the weight gain that is normal as well.
The line though is a new one to me. I haven't heard of getting a line until later in the pregnancy but everyone is different.

If your gaining weight quickly then you must watch what your eating. Try healthier snacks such as fruit, veggies or yogurt. First trimester your body will go through amazing changes. There is a great book "What to Expect when Your Expecting". I highly recommend it. I don't remember having any cramping but you really should ask your doctor. Every pregnancy is different. Best wishes.

I remember having tummy pains when I was that pregnant. Have you been to the docs to check it out yet? I bet it is growing pains if you are already gaining weight. No two pregnancies are alike so go to the doctor just to be safe.
Good luck and have a happy pregnancy!

If this is your first pregnancy, it's pretty typical what you're feeling. But don't feel shy about contacting your OB any time something worries you a bit. That's how you'll learn.
Also, the book What to Expect when Expecting will be VERY helpful to you, if you don't have it already. It has step by step symptom descriptions.
Happy birthing!

Try hotwater bottle on that spot. do not burn yourself. wrap the hot water bottle in a not so thick but thick enough material to avoid getting burnt. Take time to rest. The weight issue maybe the baby is getting bigger and make sure you eat sensibly. If this doesn't work, seed medical advice esp. regarding your cramps.

mild cramping is normal in early pregnancy.i had this when i was 5 weeks also.actually that's how i knew i was pregnant before i even took a test.as long as you aren't having cramping like when you are on your period or bleeding everything should be ok.congrats!

pregnancy effects peope differently, but definatly keep in contact with your doctor, if the pain is in your stomach then maybe your body is trying to tell you not to eat whatever it was you ate. just a suggestion, good luck five weeks down and 36 more to go!!

I'm not too sure but when I was in my first 2 months or so, I had really had terrible gas pain. I always felt full. How's the morning sickness? Perhaps it's indegestion.
