Do you have a dishwasher and let them pile up through out the day then put them in and run the washer,or do you put them in as soon as you use them?Do you wash dishes by hand?If so, how often, and do you always follow a certain method i.e.start soaking the baked on pans on the counter, put the silverware in the water, wash glasses and cups, then bowls, then plates, then utinsils and silverware, then finish with what was soaking, or do you just plop everything in the water and wash in the order that you grab them?If you wash by hand, do you prefer it, or is it because for some reason you can't have a dishwasher?

I do not have a dishwasher. I was paying my daughter $1 for every time she washed the dishes but she is away now for 2 weeks so I get to do them again. I wash plates first, then cutlery and glasses. I do pots and pans last. If any needs to soak I leave them to soak for an hour or so. When my daughter does them she puts everything in the sink without water and fills the other side with water. She washes one thing at a time and hates it if I put dishes in "her" dishwater.

I am very guilty of having too much to do, and letting my dishes pile up at night, I then hand wash them if the kids have not emptied the dishwasher for the day......LAZY~Me

I wash my dishes by hand. I have a dishwasher, but I trust no one or no machine to get my dishes clean. I'm not the type of person that inspects dishes at a restaurant, or at someones house, this is just at my home.

Pots, pans and electricals (crock pot) by hand.

Everything else in the dishwasher.

I told me kids years ago.. if it doesn't fit in the dishwasher when you're loading.. you have to wash it by hand. Works wonders!

I put my dishes in the dishwasher as soon as they're dirty and then run the dishwasher when it is full.
