Can be as early as 4 months and as late a 7.

Depends on when your doctor decides they want you to have one.

Usually between 5-6 months

usually they do one around 20 weeks. They can determine many problems visually at that time, and can also tell the sex, if you want to know.

I have had ultrasounds as early as 10 weeks and right up until a few days before I delivered.

Not all caregivers do a routine ultrasound. The ACOG actually recommends ultrasound NOT being done as a routine test.

Doctors who schedule routine ultrasounds DO NOT time them "so you can find out the sex" but instead for specific periods of development so they can see how baby is growing...NOT so they can see the genitals.

It's going to depend on your doctor. Some docs use the ultrasound really early just to see the fetal heart beat, others weight longer to see the gender, some use them frequently throughout pregnancy.

I've performed ultrasounds as early as two weeks and as late as 43. Only your doctor knows when one will be ordered. The indication for the exam will determine when it will be done. Talk to your doctor.

I had one around 8 weeks because i couldn't remember exactly when my last menstrul cycle was (They gave me one to see how far along i was). My doc said i will have another around 18-20 weeks to determine the gender.

depends on the recommendation of your doctor. i had one when i was 10 weeks and then again at 16 weeks (to determine the baby's sex, mostly). ask your doc when you see them again.
