I think that would be nice, but make sure that it is not too dark. Also, you might want to accent it by adding white drapes and pillow covers or something like that.

Yay. As long as it's not too bright or dark (unless that's what you want). Lavender is a nice calm color that can be neutral if needed. I say go for it and have fun! : )

A light purple would be nice. I'm not sure how dark lavender would make the room look. You could lighten the room with your accessories. Check out this link http://www.kehlet.cx/images/2003/02/full/DSC00444.jpg

I did my stepdaughters room with lavender partitions and white furniture. yet I replaced it up on one wall and painted a plaid utilising blue, eco-friendly, yellow and pink different length stripes and strains. She loves it! Then with the bedding I went to the clearance section at linens and issues and offered combination and adventure sheets and pillowcases in those colors, even got here upon some cool acrylic knobs in those colors to alter out the drab white ones on her cloth cloth wardrobe.

Just make sure it's a LIGHT lavender. If it's too dark, you'll start to hate it very quickly. Believe me, I speak from experience. Good luck!

Nay, use a neutral color and accent with the colors you favor. It's easier to re-accent than to repaint.
