You watch too much Married With Children. Even women who decide to stay home and be housewives do not do that. Perhaps you should swap with a housewife for a week.. I bet by the end you'd be on your knees begging for your job back.

You oughta be slapped. We do not sit on the couch and eat bon bons, besides, its a proven fact that if a man and woman work at the same level job with the same amount of skills, the men would be taken more seriously and paid more. Besides, thanks to all you men and how you're all so judgemental, we can't be eating bon bons, we SHOULD be(according to you) at the gym burning every last pound. The media is hostile torwards anyone not perfect which is why over 3 million girls have eating disorders, and it is hard to be taken seriously in the workplace. So there.

you are a dying breed my friend. there aren't many guys left in this world that feel the same way you do. not only because people think differently now but also because of the economy in the state it's in not that many people can afford to live on a single person's income.....and for the women out there who lead the life you speak of...how is maintaining a clean house, cooking for the family and raising kids not work? being a housewife isn't sitting around and eating bon bons unless your britney spears. (no offense to her she was the first young rich mother that came to mind. i hold respect for her and that she has achieved a life of relaxation.)

They always were equal. They were just generally fulfilling traditional gender roles. I think the 19th amendment was a good thing and equal pay for equal work but the radical feminists took over the movement and turned it into a man-hating movement. Now, they share responsibility for the immoral morass we are in today. Because of their incessant cackling I will no longer hold doors open for females, nor will I stop to help one change a flat tire or render assistance in any way. Why? Because she may be a radical feminist that would take offense at my very offer of help.

Don't be purile and silly. Have you no idea of the real history of woen? Not all women were like this. Not all women sat around watching tv and eating bon-bons. Some ate chocolate all day instead.

I was just thinking about this today as I heated up my husband's dinner plate after he called to tell me he was on his way home. Most of my work days are like, 3-4 hours long. I'd just awakened from my 3 hour nap. It is the life. But, I'm gonna be the one to buy him his dream car: a Dodge Viper. I enjoy being a woman, but I have just as much power to earn and support my family.

If you think that's what being a woman is all about, I don't know from what planet you came from. Whatever gave you the idea that men are a cut above women? You're not. We're better.
By the way, bonbons is spelled without a hyphen.

Seems you need to find a nice sympathetic partner who will fulfill your ambition in this. However, for the record, I know some stay-at-home moms and their life is tough. Lots of work to do and never ending projects.

If you think that's all women do, you are sadly mistaken. Any woman who did that would be beaten up by her man - would you like that too?
