and Paige is right! That stuff they call country these days isnt country. How do people like Rascal Flatts even qualiy for country music??

I like a lot of the old country, because that had a lot more heart in it. You can't recreate the heartache in Hank Williams' "I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry". Today's country music singers to me seem like their all manufactured. All my favorite country singer seem to be the outlaws of country music, like Johnny Cash, Johnny Paycheck, Merle Haggerd, Kris Kristopherson, Hank Jr., David Allen Coe, and George Jones. Who else, but George Jones would've driven a lawn mower on the interstate to make a beer run? I have other favorites to that aren't outlaws, but there are to many to name. My all-time favorite country singer. My hero and my father's hero Mr. Waylon Jennings. He is my hero because as long as I can remember "I've Always Been Crazy".

I love country music. There are way too many to list but a few of my favs are, Reba,Sarah Evans, Carrie Underwood, Faith Hill and Tim Mcgraw and Toby Keith. I would have to write you a book in order to list them all.

i like all country pretty much. i also enjoy the older country music. i like shania twain,tim mcgraw,alan jackson to be honest there really isnt to many people i dont like. marty robbins & lorretta lynn as well were good just to name a few.
