Anybody got any suggestions on how to quit smoking? I've been doing it since I was 15 and I'm 24 now. I smoke a pack a day and I really want to quit. I would like to be pregnant sometime in the near future so I know I need to. Cold Turkey didnt work for me even though that may be the best way to go. It seems like I'll quit for a day or so then something I consider to be "hectic" happens and I feel like I cant concentrate or fix whatever problem I'm having until I smoke. All idea's would be helpful and I'll definatly take into consideration. Thanks.

You should check with your medical doctor about effective strategies for quitting smoking. There are medications that have been shown to be effective and some herbal form of therapies that have helped many peolple not able to take the medications. If your medical doctor is not able to answer your questions on alternative herbal therapies, seek out the advice of a chiropractor, who is well equipped to coach you through this.
Good luck and don't quit quitting!

Have you tried accupuncture. That sometimes works. Or you can try gum and a punching bag. If all else fails, shock value worked for my dad.
