Lets see, massive tidal changes, loss of something we see all the time. Perhaps a shift in the tilt of the earth so the seasons get out of whack. We would have to chase them down for stealing the flags and stuff left by the U.S. during their visits. Most likely have the chances of getting hit by more asteroids, maybe some earthquakes if the moon's pull were strong enough. Oh and most likely would be that all the countries on earth would become peaceful as we would realize that we are not the only ones out here and there would be no since in fighting one another when we may need to fight the aliens.

this was a big brother question,
If aliens stole the moon, they would have to pay import duty on return to their own planet, and the moon would be held in quarantine until it has been cleared of any human infestation or flags.
Oh the earth would spin off its axis, hitting all the other planets like a galactic game of pin-ball.. but dont worry there would be still people drinking beer, watching footie, having sex and arguing about something.

Such nonsense about the earth spinning out of orbit. ITs thought the earth might have not had the moon at one time. No matter what the main thing is we'd have no:
eclipses
tides
Jewish and other lunar calendars would be abandoned

The moon orbits the Earth and the Earth, Sun, so we wouldn't "fall" from the sky! Night would be complete darkness almost, except for man-made lights and brighter stars, which would barely lighten up the Earth. That's about it.

the earth would spin out of orbit and we'd plummet into the sun within a (relatively) short span of time

amazing isn't it? what a delicate balance we live in that the GOP and Republicuntz want to destroy

this guys a dick he don't know what hes alking about everyone know he's a nerd there would be a masive invasion of nerds then we can tell what would happen next because we all saw mars atacks

that could literally mean the end of civilization as we know it... as the moon gets pulled away from the earth's orbit, the process would more or less distort earth's orbit around the sun, the consquences will include, but not limited to, massive tsunamis, extreme global climate changes (refer to the movie, the day after tomorrow), and not to mention there will be no more high/low tides... it's sorta like what happened to the dinasours...

that is so funny just imagining a couple of alien freaks taking the moon and running with it.

Well there would be no more more full moons... no more weird crap like werewolves coming out a night. It would be such a shame if that ever happened.
