Quick responses yield nothing really positive. Think about it, read Kropotkin and Bakunin...do you actually understand what they are saying?

Anarchy means to actively oppose any form of organizational authority or centralized government.

The dictionary definition is "A state of lawlessness and disorder (usually resulting from a failure of government)". This assumes that the lack of government control will automatically lead to disorder, and that people are not capable of controlling themselves without some overarching government authority.

For a good counter-example, read James P Hogans "Voyage from Yesteryear". It's a science fiction novel, but it presents an example of an enlightened human society (less than a century from now) that gets along just fine without any government whatsoever.

The closest thing to Anarchy is in Somolia 5 years ago, and still warlords controlled the population. Anarchy is a transitional state, and can never occur for very long. It's like the matter that scientists create in a laboratory for 1 milisecond.
