Hi Touzours,
I agree that it is so much nicer when we all get along and respect each other for our differences as well as similarities. Glad to see it is heading back that way. As for American football, yes they do have their own section but we must remember that when we post it's also generally listed under all categories also. Sometimes people just see the word football and answer in relation to the code they relate to as Football without reading the entire question. Believe it or not there are others outside of Americans that do not enjoy our Football, but the American people that do follow the sport are loyal and enjoy it as much as we do.

Hi touzours....I think we're all trying to get along and that's a great thing, but you'll always get the person that will insult. As for the American Football they are two totally different sports..what I don't understand how can you confuse one with the other..yes they have their own section so they should be using the American/Football section.

Will the exalted Lola P Brain ever get it? American football came first, soccer was renamed by one of its own. The confusion is beyond the American border.

Every four years football brings more peace to the world than any other politician has. I was at the world cup... and it didn't matter what race, sex, color you were... we were there to enjoy the game. Sure we made fun of each others teams, but at the end we were just enjoying the celebration. Too bad it had to end... can't wait for 2010!!!

well, i wouldnt say we all get along....but it seems that people are a little less quick to insult someone just because they disagree. thats definitely a plus.

but yeah, why is it that under the "football(soccer)" section, people still think we're talking about american football when we say "football"??? i just dont get it cause they have their own section.

i don't think we get along. WE DEFINTELY don't get along. I am an American, I don't like football, but I watch it just for conversation starters. But don't push it ok. I LOVE LOVE SOCCER though.
