Can you please help me add something?

I am writing a letter to my Podiatrist and I was wondering if you knew anything that I could add to this:

"I am writing to you because I want to express my sincere appreciation for all that you’ve done for me. Not only have you helped me on one occasion with my own health problems, you’ve also made me realize that I want to help others in the same way that you’ve helped me. I have always wanted to be a doctor, but could never choose the field I wanted to study. Seeing the kindness and respect that you give your patients has inspired me to pursue a career in Podiatric medicine.

I can only hope that this letter is able to express the gratitude that I feel. I hope that I can become as great of a doctor as you are. Again, thank- you so much!"

I think your words and thoughts and expressions in your letter are very good. If I could just suggest one thing, it would be to break up your sentences. How about-----
I am writing this because I would like to express my sincere appreciation for all that you have done. You have helped me on more that one occasion and I now realize that I would like to do the same for others. I have always wanted to be a doctor but was unsure of which field to enter. Seeing the care,kindness and respect that you give to your patients, has inspired me to pursue a career in Podiatric medicine.
I can only hope I have been able to express my gratitude, and that I can become as great of a doctor as you.

I've changed it just a little to get your point across, yet not add the unnecessary.

The letter is fine but don't equate podiatry with being a wonder person. You can be the same wonderful person in any field.
