ok i remember reading this story of a girl who had this really old porcelain doll and i think that when she went to sleep, she would wake up like sometime in the 1800's with this family who were out in the prairies...she had like a little sister or something and i recall the name Maggie or Megan i think and there was a fire too somewhere in the end.. someone PLEASE help me find the name of this book!!!!

The above answerer is correct. This book is called "Yesterday's Doll" by Cora Taylor, and (you were right) the name of the little girl is Meg. If it is the same book we are talking about Meg has to decide whether to stay in the past as Morag or in the present as Meg. I believe the book was originally called just "The Doll", but Cora Taylor changed the title.

There's a children's book about a porcelain doll called A Is For Annebelle, but it doesn't involve time travel.

i remember a book like that as well. could it be "yesterdays doll"???????????? i dont remeber who write the book. all i know is that i saw this question yesterday and it has been bothering me all day and i finally came to this tile about an hour ago.......
