Hi
Who sung the version of 'fever' that was done by a female vocalist in the 80s (I think). It's the version you hear most often in the UK, but I can't find it on the web...

Any ideas?

Peggy Lee sang the original, but the best version I have ever heard was done by Eva Cassidy as a clever piece of Jazz improvisation.

Rita Coolidge had a hit with "Fever" in 1973, and Little Nell (from Rocky Horror Picture Show fame) in 1978. Either of those who you were thinking of?
