you should wear winter clothes, because while in the North Hemisphere is summer, in the South one is winter.
However, if you go to Buenos Aires or in the Northern part of Argentina (for instance Iguazu Falls - border w/Brazil) do not take heavy clothes as the winter is mild, something like Fall in NYC or Europe to have a comparison term. Average temperature is between 5C and 15C (in Fahrenheit would be 40F to 60F).
Have a nice trip !

Remember Argentina is a long country and depending on where you go the weather changes dramatically. If you way south, that is like being way north here, while being up north there is like being in the south. Remember the seasons are opposite of America so it is winter down there now. But around the capital, it is still hot and never really gets cold, sort of like Miami, while if your down near the southern tip they have snow right now. Check where you are going and plan accordingly.

Firstly, stop worrying about your clothes and learn how to spell the country you'll be visiting. Who cares what you wear, you'll be traveling, people would love to be in your shoes, whichever ones you choose.
