Every time I think my Twins are going to get another streak going, they head for Detroit and get stomped. The Twins have some hot hitters right now but they get cooled down instantly by that great pitching staff. Anyone think they will go the distance?

I agree with Georgie. All those who say Tigers suck just can't get over the fact that high payrolls and huge ego players don't necessarily make a great team. Don't get me wrong teams like the Yankees and Red Sox will always be tough to beat, but the Tigers are for real and I hope they win it all.

I just won't mention that the Tigers are 1-3 against the Yankees. Oops, I did.

Wow, out of ten answers, only one sore loser. All he could come up with was "Tigers Suck". He is quite persuasive.

Yes, absolutely incredible!

Never in my wildest dreams did I envision this kind of season 4 months ago.

And to the people who say "Tigers SUCK!" are just jealous, plain and simple.

They are jealous that The Tigers are winning.

If the yankees were in the same division as The Tigers, they would be 8 games out of 1st place.

So, go ahead and scream "Tigers SUCK" all you want. It doesnt disminish the fact The Tigers are better than the yankees.

The Tigers will get past the 1st round. Even if they don't I will still be a Tigers fan.

Watching this Tiger team day in and day out is amazing.

This team is playing baseball as a TEAM. One of the many reasons they are doing so well is because we DO NOT have any super-alter egos getting in the way.

p.s.:

The Tigers have 3 games left with the yankees---so we'll see just how good The Tigers really are.

I'm amazed. Pre-season I thought it would be a 2 team race in the central between Cleveland and Chicago. The Tigers are scrappy with good pitching. I think they can go all the way and I hope they do. I love seeing different teams in the post season.

Are these the same Tigers that lost 119 games in 2003 and has averaged 96 losses a season for the past 10 season?

Did space aliens come down and swap them out?

It is phenominal

Im a Yankees fan and I would have never expected the Tigers to be where they are now. However I am not jealous of them. The Tigers have earned my respect.

The Tigers are doing great this year! I cannot believe that it was 2 or 3 years ago that they were doing lousy! What a difference!

There is no question that they are for real!! They are running away with their division, most likely will win the AL pennant and then go on to win the World Series. They are that good!!

Yes they do! I believe they might actually go to the series, but the Mets are gonna win it! I really thought Boston might be the team in, but Detroit has even me second guessing!
