iam the 1 that has the 1988 olds delta 88,3800 engine and ill tell you how to do it.first drain the radiator,then loosen the belt,then take off the water pump pulley and then you can see all the bolts.when you get ready to put on the new pump,make sure you put on a good sealent so it wont leak(something like indian head or permatex,then you can put back on the stuff you took off.hope this helps you.good luck.

If you have to ask this question your confidence level is not what it should be to replace the pump it's not hard but for shade-tree mechanic or diy mechanic it can be a pain.

Take it to a shop ..... Pep Boys ;-)
