My video camera is a CCD-TRV138 NTSC and it can hold Hi-8 tapes. I was wondering if that can connect to a laptop computer? if it can what do I need to connect it with?

Hey I looked it up and it doesn't have any usb or firewire capability. Man that kinda sux for a Sony!

You can get an external video capture card. Just make sure the connectors fit your AV cable. You can actually take your camcorder to Fry's and check it out.

Or you can go to:

www.pricegrabber.com

and just shop for one.

They give a lot of info and reviews on their site.
