can he still hear the voices?

Yeah because he hears the voices in his mind not his ears. He needs an antipsychiotic not ear damage although some brain interferance is healful I hear. Lalala will work in a pinch or loud rock music, but antipsychoics are the main treatment. Atypicals are the treatment of choice in present day because the side effect profile is less intense.

PS cool it on the mental illness jokes they are really offensive. Can you talk about something really offiensive like Tom Cruise and Scientology or Mel Gibson and his Antisemitism. They are offensive. Mental illnesss is a serious topic how about making fun of these idiots instead please?

First, auditory hallucinations are not necessarily a sign of schizophrenia. Though they are most often associated with schizophrenia, severe mood disorders or even extreme stress can bring about hallucinations. And no, puncturing your ear drums would not help, because the voices are in the person's brain, whether they sound like they are inside their head or outside. Unfortunately, people will do whatever they can to try to get rid of the voices, even going to extreme measures like gouging out their ears. The only real, though not always effective, treatment for voices is medication.

How a lot more of her are we able to suffer? Please, allow the insanity finish!! Not that I care approximately her or her "track" or different crap, it is simply that she will get shoved down our throats each friggin' day we flip at the Telly. Enough is sufficient, blast all of it to hell... Perhaps I can invent a Time Machine and kill two birds with a million stone, and stale Billy Ray Cyrus earlier than he ever does his complete "Achey Breaky Heart" pursuits. I will eliminate Mullets and Miley in fell swoop. What do you suppose? Bwaa Haa Haaa!!!!

No, the voices are not sensed through the auditory system. People who hear voices are Schitzophrenic which means they do not perceive reality correctly. If you were to do what you mentioned abave you would be much more than massacistic.

For awhile until they realize their deafness. When you're deaf, then you know you are 'hearing voices'. After that you wish you could hear again.
