Is is any wonder....?

Does anyone actually know who inspired the character in "Silence of the Lambs," Dr. Lector. I do!!! The coolest answer wins, and of course the right one.

Ok, there were actually a few that inspired the story, but I'm looking for one person in particular....

My guess is that Russian doctor Nikolai Dzurmongalev (sp?), who also enjoyed meals made from his victims. I'm sure there have been others...
