Yes as long as its a valid move, the king can either move out of check or take the piece that put them there.
** i forgot that by taking the piece that put him in check, the king cannot place himself in check, so he cannot take the piece if he would still be in check by a different piece. **

Yes, as long as taking the attacking piece would not put the king into check again (the attacking piece was protected by another piece).
A piece CAN give check to the king even if NOT protected. Of course it can then be taken by the king (or another piece if in position).

Yes it can, but only if the attacking piece is 1 space away from the king because that is the length of it's attack...have fun with chess!

Yes absolutely, but only if it's within reach, and not covered by another piece. If killing the other piece still puts the king in check, then he's not allowed to do it.
