if this even is a city....i just seen a special on the only 7 star hotel... and im curous as to where it is exactally... i know its in dubai.... but thats it....

Dubai IS most definitely a city and a very beautiful one at that ...should be on everyones list as a must visit ... Its a city in the UNITED ARAB EMIRATES. It is one of the seven emirates which make up the U.A.E . If you're just curious I suggest you use search engines. I got 38,700,000 hits for just typing 'Dubai' .. If you want to go as a tourist you're in for a treat ..!

It is a city and it is in the country called the UNITED ARAB EMIRATES (UAE). It is not in Saudi Arabia, but it does border the south west of Saudi Arabia.. Can't believe nobody else answered this correctly already.

Dubai is in the persian gulf. I was in the navy and our ship pulled in there all the time.
