I need the contact breaker point gap settings for a Harley Sportster. The engine is on a 91 Sportster frame. I really don't have any idea what the actual year of the engine is, but it has points and condenser which puts it between 70 and 78. any help would be appreciated. Also, it is running pig rich even with a different carb on it. Making me crazy.

I can,t say that I have ever done a tune-up on a Harley and it,s been a long time since I,ve seen a vehicle with point,s in it but as I recall it was 17 to 18 thousand,s of an inch for the gap.
