I have, but most often they break or get lost/pinched before all the ink is gone. Does managing to do this mean that I suffer from obsessive compulsive disorder?

LOL "i've got carried out something" and no I surely have in no way run of of ink on a biro it extremely is with the help of the fact while i take advantage of a biro it extremely is a alternative for yet another pen so i do no longer come back to the biro not often. that is purely a spare, that has been a spare for a on an identical time as :P

Well, I think the fact that I never can hold on to any pen long enough to use up all the ink is due to my ADD...but as for your question...
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder only applies to you if whatever your obsession or compulsion is affects your daily living and quality of life. Some people cannot leave the house, cannot make it to work on time, cannot do their work effeciently, etc. because of OCD. Every person has obsessions and compulsive thoughts. It is only OCD if it gets in the way of the rest of your life.
I think managing to use up the ink in the pen is actually a good quality! You didn't lose it and you didn't waste it!

when furiously studying i tend to run them till they are done, but as the late great douglas adams so astutely pointed out, Biro pens are lifeforms that dont get lost but find their way back to biro dimension through worm holes in the space time continuum. It is not you who is suffering a disorder, it is simply confusion at a migratory pattern zoologists have ignored.

Lol I feel the need to do that now... problem being that I prefer to write in fountain pen, and every time I have a biro, it gets chewed to death and thrown away before I've even written a few pages.

I don't think it means you have OCD, but maybe my thought process is too like yours... lol... DENIAL.

No! Like cigarette lighters, they always seem to disappear (more likely get STOLEN) before they reach the end
