To *initiate* a *lawsuit*, you would have to contact a lawyer and clearly explain to them what has occured. If English is not your first language, try to find a bi-lingual attorney so that nothing gets lost in the translation.

You first have to decide if you want to pursue a claim in federal court or state court. Since whatever occurred probably falls under the fair credit act then you should go federal but depending on the transgression it may allow you to file suit in state court.

Federal court especially but even state court is not a cheap endeavor. I would suggest you first contact the department that regulates banks in your state and or the attorney general's office to file a complaint and see if they can get it resolved.

I hope you do sue them. I hate BOA. They rip you off only if they get a chance.
