I actually thought about this.... I believe the one gaara needs is someone who'll compliment him. Someone who is patient yet can be assertive when needed, trustworthy, and a bit more happy. So I choose Akane Tendo from Ranma 1/2 she can be kind and patient with people but she not afraid to smack anyone if needed. She's also loyal and trustworthy to the one she loves which is totally needed with someone who's as paranoid as Gaara. And her simple smile makes others smile. I've never seen Gaara smile. His face might crack.

it's hard to see Gaara with a girl becuz of how he is u kno...but i mean i think that if you had to pick...i mean...out of all the girls maybe Ten Ten could suit him but then again no...technically it's this hard to pick someone for Gaara lol. but u never kno if they come up w. any new girl characters that will b good enough 4 him ;]

Kasumi : Ranma 1/2 = I think Kasumi will be great because Kasumi is very nice no matter what! Gaara will easy fall in love with her like InuYasha and Kagome.
