I suggest you visit http://360.yahoo.com/wektech and use some of the links to tools that can help you. I would suggest bitdefender to remove the trojan and then a couple of spyware scanners to remove infestation.

Just recently did this! Here are the free programs I used: AVG Free, Ad Aware, Spyware Blaster, Sybot Search & Destroy & Trend Micro (run 3 different ones on their home page for the home computer: Free Virus Scan, Browser Hijacking and Free Spyware Scan). Also, Zone Alert is free and good too. You can download all and get a shortcut to your desktop. Run them all everyday for a week (the virus can seem like it's gone and reappear) I seem to be in the clear now (Norton never helped or detected this virus) so I just run them all once a week now. Good luck! It's not fun, I know.

Update your virus definitions on your virus scanner and complete a full system scan with the software.
If that doesn't remove it, search for the virus on Google. There's many forums by professional anti-virus gurus/companys that either have mini programs or documentation on the manual way to remove a specific virus.

Hi, perhaps you can try Norton and Mcafee to remove the virus. but you need to pay for the software.
i also recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar, which can disable the virus, becasue the virus can only run on IE.
firefox can block any any poppus and disable any virus and spyware, adware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE. as you know, most of the virus is spread throught internet and webpage.
firefox is much smaller than IE, so i run faster than IE.
download firefox for free:

I had to completely reformat my computer when I got a trojan virus. Sorry. Maybe someone knows something I don't know.
