Waste is a matter of opinion. Air conditioning uses far more electricity than a few lights. Most people consider television a total waste, so in that respect, TV wastes more.

Wastes the most? If you mean which of the 3 you stated is the least efficient, it would be lighting, Lighting is a resistive load and adds heat to the room. The A/C uses the most because its a motor load. But it doesn't waste energy because it provides for your comfort. TV's use less energy its the programming that's the waste.

Which one can you do without? AC uses the most electricity. Lighting depends on how many and what type of lights you are talking about. and a typical TV uses less than 200 watts of power.

Well, AC is necessary, so it is not wasting electricity, it is using it. Light is needed for tasks, so that's not a waste, either...but there is less and less of viewable quality on TV nowadays, especially since the advent of the "reality" show, so I would say that TV is the biggest waste of electricity.
