you can get a mouth piece and have him put it in his mouth at bedtime.

I am aware of this problem all to well...I too at one time would grind my teeth really bad at night.I tried buying a mouthguard from the pharmacy however it was uncomfortable.I actually had one made to fit my mouth and what a diiference.

He needs to have a dentist fit him for a night guard. Teeth grinding can cause serious problems, and it can also indicate other medical problems. He should seek proper medical treatment for this condition.
