How about Republicans have totally screwed up in every attempt they have made to govern the country from War to Healthcare to the Economy to Katrina.
I think that has a nice ring to it.
Don't wait till 08! VOTE THIS NOVEMBER!

I don't know, are we sure he can't run again? Since he has yet to actually be elected by a majority of voters, he's simply been appointed president twice. Does that count against term limits? If not, they can keep the "I hate Bush" thing going for a long, long time. Are republican voters going to fall for "stay the course" again? Or will it be saving marriage from gay dudes (ignoring the 50% divorce rate). Has there been a campaign run on relevent issues in the last 20 years?

The Republican Party is an institutionalized lie. The Bush administration is the embodiment of modern political deception. Unfortunately, some of the people that should know better and should see through the Republican lie don’t.How can the Bush administration – the most anti-liberty, Constitution-shredding, big-government administration to wield power at least since the days of LBJ’s and Nixon’s guns and butter – still manage to convince libertarians that the current political regime is the best realistic chance for liberty? How can a party that has a thirty-five year record of expanding government at a much faster pace than the other party still be perceived as the smaller-government party?
If Thomas Jefferson were alive today, he would not be impressed by how much the Republicans respect gun rights. He would be amazed that the Republicans have gotten away with as much tyranny as they have, in spite of the armed populace.

Even though Bush can't run using him might still be a tool. Depending on the state of the nation or the war in Iraq they will point to Bush as the reason and anyone associated with him as an accomplice. The war of course will be a front issue and border security beside the usual platforms of health care, employment etc etc.

They will run on issues besides the war.
Healthcare, College money, Crime, Poverty, and stop this ridiculous defict spending.
Things that effect every family....real families not just the top 1%
also offer the american people a way out of Iraq, instead of refusing to even suggest that we are leaving the counrty in the future.
and a better approach to the war on terror that does not require warentless government domestic spying.

They'll run on the "I hate Bush" platform. Something like
"The incompetance of this administration has...."
They'll use the word quagmire a lot and not mean the guy on Family Guy. Tax cut for the rich. Worst economy. Yadda yadda yadda.
It'll be 2000 all over again except in the past tense.

One only needs to look at his record or lack of record. Favors for the rich and to hell with the middle class. More concern for gay marriage that dealing with economy, health car, environment, education, price of gas and corruption in white house. The GOP has given the Democrats what they need to run on 2008.
