I don't know about Panana Beach but 30 miles west of there is an awesome resort called "The Westwinds" in Destin. We go to Panama Beach every time we stay in Destin. The hotels there are just ok imho. I liked the ones between there and Destin better. We have also rented beach houses in between the 2 cities. They rent for a few days, week or the whole summer.

well NOT boradwalk. its cheap but nasty. bugs,tub dirty,hair in drain, small rooms, and mean people.
but i do recommand the beachside hotel. its really nice and great views!
