sickness and dehydration...As I said I'm 15 weeks now and still having a really bad morning sickness, I'm not able to keep anything down unless I'm taking my medicine(Zofran).I'm really worried because of the medicine and about the fact that I was so dehydrated. My questions are: Did anybody experienced the same?
When did the morning sickness go away?
Did anybody take Zofran? Did you deliver healthy babies?
Did anybody stay in hospital because of dehydration? was your baby ok?
Thanks a lot! I really appreciate it!

I have not had to deal yet with morning sickness however a number of my friends were on zofran during their pregnancy and their babies are fine and as a nurse I have had to go to expectant mothers home to give zofran thru an IV because their nausea was so bad and their babies were fine...good luck with everything!

I was in the hospital for dehydration and low iron. It happens a lot. My baby was so healthy. Dont worry. I never really had morning sickness. I did go through about a weeks worth of bad nausea. They gave me some pill things i forgot what they are called to stick up my, butt. It helped. Your baby will be fine. Sometimes morning sickness will go away with time or it wont. Stay brave. You made it to 15 wks your doing amazing.

I choose not to take medicine for my morning sickness. Instead I was vomiting all the way to the delivery room. However, I never dehydrated. Have you tried crackers with no salt. It helped me a lot. Also, some hard to digest foods corn and red meat made my morning sickness worse. I did have a very healthy baby.

I was terribly sick with my first. I did have to go to the hospital because I couldnt keep anything down. I took phenergen (sp?). There is nothing wron with taking medicene if it will help you keep food and drink down. Your baby will be fine. Mine didnt have any problems and I was sick right up until I delivered her! Hang in there.

I spent time in the hospital with my first and second babies (second one was worse . . ) I was put on a different med tho but I can't remember the name of it . . . with my second, I was sick for nine weeks straight then one day, it all went away (in that time I lost 30 pounds) . . . at delivery I was only 13 pounds over prepregnancy weight and she delivered at a healthy 6 lbs 14 oz ............ no problems or complications

Woah! Take a breath! Because if you or your baby was in serious danger, they wouldn't have sent you home. Stressing like that will only make it worse. You'll be okay, and you'll soon have a beautiful baby and one heck of a guilt trip to lay on in the teen years!
