A wireless keyboard and Mouse are they any good???

pain in the *** when the batteries go and you have no spares.
they also perform worse when the bateries are low

The positives is that you can pretty much use your keyboard and mouse from great distances from your PC. Especially if you're a super geek and have your PC hooked up and running from your LCD TV (my friend for example).

The negitive is that they usually run on batteries and sometimes electrical interference may interrupt functionality with the wireless devices. Plus they're more expensive to purchase than your standard keyboard and mouse.

All depends on the make of them, some of the more pricey ones are good, get a decent signal. But some of the cheaper ones are rubbish.

If there not new and someone is selling them cheap, then you need to wonder why they are selling them.

make sure you get a newer model. my parents have a new one that is awesome. works just like the wired ones. the older first ones are less reliable. i had a mouse and it was difficult at best to get it to work, on top of that the batteries constantly died.

It depends if they are designed to be wireless, of if they are normal ones with the wires cut off.

they are fine to use as long as you encrypt them otherwise other people can interfere with our mouse and keyboard ;)
