I have recently started dating a wonderful man much older than me. We have been dating since April of this yr. He happens to be friends with my sister, and they were lovers 10 yrs ago, and have remained friends since. I have known him just as long. Upon my sisters suggestion, she encouraged us to spend time with each other...as we were both single, and recently had broken up with other people. So we have, and I have found myself really falling for him, and he has developed strong feelings for me as well.
My sister (who has always been very envious and jealous of me) is now not talking to me and she is now stating that It's not right that I'm dating him, and is talking about me behind my back, and saying that I'm just using him....and that they had this committed relationship.etc etc. Which is not true...she never loved him, and often commented how he was too old for her. Is this wrong for me to be doing? She refuses to discuss this with all of us together. What do i do??

Why do you want your sister's sloppy seconds? This guy is just living out a fantasy. Drop him.

Look based of what you have written, I think you should care if they both dated in the past. Nothing happened, he's single, your single, you both like each other, I do see wrong in that. Go for it, just always be careful....your tried talking to your sister but she wouldn't give, so enjoy your relationship with him. Good luck!!

Its really between you and your sister. If she feels it's wrong, then it's not worth dating this guy. If she truely doesn't have a problem with it and gives you the green light, then go for it. But look for redflags for awhile and make sure it's not affecting her in a negative way. Blood is thicker then water. Boyfriends and husbands can come and go, but your sister will always be your sister, remember that...

Sounds like Sis was on a mission of her own when she suggested that you spend time with him. Only it didn't work, This guy didn't relite that ol' flame from ten years ago, instead he found "fire in the hall"!

What trailer park did you say you lived in?
