Does anyone actually pay to read the newspaper anymore? Or does everyone just get their news online like me?

Does anyone pay for their news when they can get it online for freee?

Do you feel that newspapers companies are successfuly maintaining a profit on their papers?

Just curious....

And i know this question has been asked before. But im asking again! :)

Yes, I still read the newspaper....I mainly rely on it for local events that are comming up, or that have just happened recently....There is also a lot of other useful information in the paper that may not be on te web....

Plus I enjoy doing the puzzles....

I have to read the actual paper everyday or I can't function. I tried on line but it's not the same. I think the newspaper companies are maintaining a profit

I read it - but I don't pay. My husband writes sports for our city's newspaper, so we get it for free.
I think they make a profit. The bagel shop I go to in the morning is filled with people drinking morning coffee and pouring over the paper.
I know it is my ritual.

I learn the neighborhood paper, you realize, loss of life notices, engagements, carrying victories and many others. I'd appear on the information feed in Yahoo homepage for the massive studies and I'd watch the inside track at night time then :)

i read the newspaper everyday and both local county papers on wednesday there is alot of news out there that is not found on line

Maybe once or twice a year for the travel section in the LA Times.

I only look at the paper to see who has died and to look for job openings in the classified ads.
