it goes back a long way. similar to all arab muslim countries and patriotic citizens, they view the israelies has having "stolen" part of their land, (particularly the palestinians) when israel was created. fights between hezbollah and israel, palestinians and israelies, is very common, often resulting in death. they just constantly hate each other and continue to kill each other, at this point there really isnt a long term way to end all of this that both sides would agree to.

btw: hezbollah and israel have always hated each other, even before this war started.
