I read that some people just don't tan in some places. Try a different brand of sunscreen. When I went to Hawaii, my arms tan a lot, but my face and torso don't as much. Don't worry if you can't get a good tan. It is always good to keep at it though. Your as beautiful as you think you are and that's what matters most. Good luck!

This happens to me too! It sucks. :( I don't know what causes it, but what I do is I buy a powder foundation (I use bare essentials makeup and it works great) that is a shade or two darker than my skin color on my face. I use a large bristle brush to apply it, and make sure to dust it on all the way down to my neck and collar bone so that the color blends in with the rest of my body and looks natural. I also will sweep a little bronzer on my cheeks, nose, and upper forehead to intensify the tan look. Another product I recommend is those gradual tanner lotions...I've tried the jergens one and the olay one which both work good. They are like self tanner, except theres less of it in the lotion so it gives a more subtle and natural looking tan. I use this in combination with regular moisturizer on my face, and it helps. Good luck!

I have the same problem and I go tanning at a salon. My body always tans more than my face. Try tanning lotion or a spray on tan. I use Jergens Daily Glow moisturizer that actually darkens your skin color a little bit to match the rest of your body. There are a lot of self tanning lotions or creams you could try. Go to Target or Walgreens and they sell them there. Good luck!

You really shouldn't be tanning your face at all anyway. The skin on your face is quite thin and refreshes itself very quickly, which is probably why your tan fades so fast. Because it's so sensitive, it is also very easy to burn it, and damage it permanently (even without a burn). If you insist on tanning like this, be sure to see a dermatologist regularly. As to your problem, I would suggest using either a very good quality sun-less tanning lotion or else a spray-on tan for your face. You can't, unfortunately, keep a tan from fading any other way.

It's pretty normal to have a lighter-skinned face than the rest of your body.
Trying to get some all-around tan just looks plain stupid. It's not natural.

There is a new Dove product that slightly darkens the skin, and mousturizes the face. I got a free sample in the mail, and I think it works great! My face looks tan, and I didn't even expose myself to UV!

My sister was hired for this tanning agency it was cool! Anyway, she got a spray on tan that works fine. P.S. It's in santa barbara, but sometimes there are different ones. Never know!

Use Jergens Natural Glow Face tanning lotion, because ur face is also the most sensitive (and unattractive) area for sunburns.

This is because your face gets exfoliated every day as it should. This is why I don't bother trying to tan my face. Besides, it's bad for you.
Use self tanning cream every day.
Also, tan Make up works great.
