some of my friends think it's insane to have that many movies and that i can't possibly watch or like them all.
but, i do. i only get what i like and i just happens that i like alot of films.

Not at all. Im close to 2000 and Im definitly not a buff. I DO watch them though. I just kinda got used to buying a movie every pay check, thats it. Of course some cool deals like buy 3 get one free, etc. But yea, I'm close to 2000 and they are mostly horror flicks, those are the best!

I don;t think it's weird at all. I own 842 movies myself. I think it just makes us film buffs.

I have 1000 dvds and probably that many on VHS with no overlap.
