I am 27 years old & have a five month old baby. My fiance & I have been together for 4 years. we have GREAT SEX!!! I am very attentive to him in bed! But during ,my pregnancy I obviously looked different! I gained weight and had a big belly! I have gottn rid of almost all the weight & our sex life is still good but not as good because we have a baby & it;s hard to find the time. but we manage! I just want a man's perspective, does your image of your wife or girlfriend change after a baby?????

My wife has become more sexy after every baby, so yes my image does change. Sex is different after having a baby, like you say, because you can't be nearly so spontaneous, but my wife has become more beautiful to me with each child. Having a baby is a very unselfish thing for a woman to do, with the demands and stress on her body and with the sacrifices that come with having and properly raising children.

However, watching her love and nurture our children makes me fall in love with her even more, and when we are able to find time for sex, it is better than ever.

So, yes my perception of my wife changes after she has a baby, but it's definitely for the better.

It absolutely changes, profoundly in fact. Before the baby, you were some lady he established a connection with, and your connection bred passion, a desire to be together, and a commitment to start a family. Then baby came; the first fruits of that union...and now you are the mother of his child, bringer of life, and a fellow parent. Hopefully he witnessed the birth and watched in awe as the miracle of life manifested itself through you. He may never have the words to express to you how much more precious you are to him as a result of that, but he sees it and feels it everytime he looks at you. It's indescribeable, and everytime I think I have a handle on a description, it comes up woefully inadequate...but you're more to him now than you've ever been. Congratulations to you both.

It shouldn't. If it does than it should change for the better. After all she just gave you a child. That's a big deal, at least to me.
