Is it just me or does using this word rather than husband make people sound extremely retarded?

LOL i agree! It annoys the hell out of me when women refer to their husband as their HUBBY. It sounds so juvenile and it's definitely NOT CUTE. It would be like if my husband started calling me his WIFEY...lol...ridiculous.

It's just a slang term in todays generation. It's the same as "my ole lady" or "my ole man". I purposely typed "ole". Some say "ole" and some say "old". Either way, I find it very disrespectful and demeaning to ones spouse.
