I consider myself a funny person, but i use sarcasm a LOT and well i want to know what y'all think.....how much is to much??

LOL!!...thanks polllyd. that's funny....i'm not confused....it's just that i have found out that this is a nice way to let all the **** in ur head blow out.....i understand 'bout the gym and the divorce....but what's wrong with been an I.E.??

Sarcasm is great, and its hard to say how much is too much. It depends on the person you are talking to- how sensitive they are and what their sense of humor is like. Its usually pretty obvious if jokes or comments you make are making another person uncomfortable...you don't want to hurt anyone's feelings so just be careful. People you know really well will probably take things you say a lot more lightly than say, a girl you are on a first date with or a manager at an interview for a job! If you try to gauge your level of sarcasm based on the person and the situation, you should be fine. If you aren't getting any complaints, keep doing what you're doing! Its great to be your genuine self. :)

Hah! I use sarcasm all the time too. Here is how I know it's going overboard though: When my sarcasm is less about joking around, and more about expressing loosely-veiled anger.
Sometimes it just seems easier to let fly with a mean-spirited joke rather than deal directly and seriously with feelings of anger.

better too much than too little. if someone is just a little sarcastic, doesn't that kind of mean that the joke is too truthful? like, "oh, yeah, i love clubbing baby seals... and i'm only being a little sarcastic..."
