It's a long story but the basics are....
We were temporary separated
There is a parenting plan in place with me having soul custody of our son
She was deported before we got a divorce
I haven't heard from her in over 3 years and don't think I ever will
I have no idea were she is, but last I heard she had already remarried, and has a child. That info I got from her sister, but that is all she has told me.

Is there a way I can still get a divorce with out the need of an attorney? The legal battles I had before have left me.....well broke =[, and I'm hoping to get myself back on my feet. I'm afraid another long legal session will ruin me........any advice?

The reason we separated was because she was convicted of 2nd degree assault of a child......our child! After spending thousands on her criminal battle, and both our family curt battles, I was left with full custody of our son as stated in the parenting plan, which also included the curt ordered temporary separation. She was deported after completing her sentencing, but the temporary separation has also expired.....It's obvious that we will never get back together again, or even talk to each other for that matter, but now I find myself stuck legally still married to her.......the thought alone sickens me.......but I won't lie, I'm BROKE like you wouldn't believe, I want to file for bankruptcy before things get way too out of hand. But it's also important for me to get a divorce....... I under stand that I may have no choice but to go though an attorney, but is there anybody out there that has gone through something similar?.....what can I expect?

Hi, now I don't know how true this is but I know this works in the case of child custody issues and can't find the father or mother. You can place an ad in the paper stating that you are no longer married to this person that you are seeking divorce or something like that. It has to run for 30 days and if no answer then it's final. But you can get a free consult and they will let you know what to do and how to go from there.

Call the legal aid department and talk to someone there. You should be able to file for a divorce and after a specific amount of time if you get no response the Judge should grant you the divorce. Just document everything you do.

Sorry, this sounds like a job for a lawyer. I wouldn't attempt to try anything myself when it comes to laws in other countries.

Talk to a lawyer. They will normally not charge for the first 1/2 hour if it is just a consultation. See what they say. You may be able to work out a payment plan with one that will not send you to the poor house.

Good luck

Wow, I don't have the answer for you, but I just wanted to say how sorry I am for you sir. My heart goes out to you and all you and your child have been through. Thank God your child is with you and not her! That's a blessing in itself. I know there is free legal aid in most states. Try that and maybe you can find out what you have to do. Again, I'm so sorry this happened to you. Bless you and your child.
