You have to have either a license or have a commercial play copy of the movie. There is a company called Swank around where I live that offers commercial copies of movies for rent.

If the movie is shown in a church, gym or other public formum, yes.
If you show the movie in your home or on privately owned property of some kind and charge for popcorn and snacks and drinks, and have a sale and games - no
the difference is in the advertising.
If you are advertising that you are having a fundraiser and "such and such" movie will be shown, you must buy a licence.
Advertising the fundraiser with no mention of the movie and that there will be an auction, or refreshments for purchase or whatever is fine.
I know it's done all the time - but you asked - and my group has just finished researching it.

Yes, any public displays of a movie require a license. This is loosely enforced however unless someone starts to profit off of the showing which your fundraiser will obviously do.

Not a license, but you do need permission from the movie studio that produced the movie to show it at any public gathering.

i dont see anything that needs licensing here. as long as you are not selling bootleg copies of the movie or trying to recreate it in some way, which would violate the copyright laws.
