It would be helpful if you know what state you are going to be living in and contact the Department of Education in that state to see what the requirements are. Different states have different procedures and different qualifications for earning teaching credentials, so there is no one answer to your question. In my state, ESL teachers in public schools have a basic teaching credential (usually multiple subject, for teaching elementary, or single subject like math, reading, etc.) and then have additional training to get a certificate authorizing them to teach ESL. The standards for teaching ESL classes for adults are not as stringent.
Anyway, there is some reciprocity between states as far as whether the teaching credential you earned in one state allows you to qualify for a credential in another state. Check it all out - you have a lot of research to do!
I have no experience with paralegals, but I am guessing that the process will be much like it is with teaching. After all, the laws vary from state to state, so it seems logical that the training and requirements will as well.

It seems that you speak English very well. Since you are bilingual, you shouldn't have any problems finding a job. You could be a translator. The ESL teachers usually do not teach at public schools. There are special programs set up for non-native speakers that hire these ESL teachers. A paralegal is also a good choice because you can help English speakers and people that speak your first language. Teachers do not make a lot of money, but you can finish your degree in 4 years. It also allows you to work with children and be creative. A paralegal makes good money, but you will spend more years at school.

My buddy is a paralegal. She used to artwork a job that replaced into sort of uninteresting and did no longer pay ok. Now she works at a diverse business enterprise and gets an excellent sort of time beyond regulation simply by long hours. consistently has an excellent sort of artwork, so it is not uninteresting. She additionally is going to trials some situations a year so there's a sprint return and forth. She additionally makes so lots greater money now. From what I comprehend it somewhat varies wildly what your interest would be like in step with what sort of business enterprise you're working for.
