Yes maybe in ghz but these are laptops, top specs on them are are only around 1.6ghz. And he got 5 for 460 not just the 1.
a new IBM ThinkPad X22 PIII 800MHz goes for around £235 so ur price of £92 is about right for seconds but saying that people will buy a 800mhz laptop on Ebay for around £130 - £150, wont make great profit, but as long as they are in working order with power supplies you should do ok.

Looks like they're worth somewhere in the neighborhood of $300-400 (US) each, so you did okay. (assuming that's 460 pounds total and not 460 pounds each - if you paid 460 pounds each, you got screwed bigtime)
Next time you might want to ask BEFORE you buy. It can be almost impossible to get your money back on a used purchase.

if your lucky you can sell them on but you probably won't get your money back
no one really wants laptops that are p3 s
have they got an operating system and are they working???
if so then selling individually at £100 might just make your money back you don't say what type they are that might make a difference the only upgrade you can do on laptops is HDD and RAM

Hmm
At £92 a piece, its a bit steep, especially if they are the "reconditioned" ones with dodgy software that appear on ebay all the time.
Best bet is to try and sell them singly on ebay if you want rid of em.

You can always find a car with nice alloys on, jack it up and put a laptop underneath and nick the wheels. Than using the 5th one, sell them on eBay and hopefully get your money back.
